Saragva Sing nu Shaak is a traditional Gujarati Recipe that is made with drumsticks in a curd gravy. It tastes best when served with Bhakhri.

Ingredients:
- 4 Drumsticks
- 2 tbsp Besan/ Gram Flour
- 3/4 cup Curd
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Dana Jeera Powder
- 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tsp Oil
- 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
- 10 Curry Leaves
- 1 Small Piece of Ginger finely chopped
- 1 Green Chilli
- salt to taste
- corriander leaves for garnishing
Cooking Directions:
- Wash and cut the drumsticks in to 3 inch pieces using a kitchen scissor.
- Boil 1/2 cup water in a pressure cooker and cook these drumsticks for 1 whistle. Do not throw away the water that was used to boil the drumsticks because it is full of vital nutrients and acts as a stock for the recipe
- Prepare a batter of curd and besan of medium consistensy. Add spices like turmeric,dhana jeera,red chilli powder and salt and mix well using a beater so that there are no lumps.
- In a kadhai heat oil and make a tampering of mustard seeds. Now add curry leaves,chopped ginger and green chilli.
- Now add the curd and flour batter.
- Next add the boiled drumsticks along with the water that was used to boil it.
- Cover and let simmer for 5 minutes.
- When done garnish with corriander.
- Serve when hot with chapati or bhakhri.
